Their approach to Fish and Chips provides a wide variety of options with a seasonal menu that selects only the freshest fish, plus an ever-changing menu with numerous combinations of batters.
What started off as one shop in a shady part of town has now become a thriving hub for all people to go and grab a bite to eat, raising the standard of fast casual dining.
About the Show
In part one, we get into Barry’s past work where he started out as a keen streetwear and fashion enthusiast. Focusing on his role as a fashion buyer, Barry picked up an eye for effective branding.
During the recession, he and business partner Simon sought greener pastures. Starting with a market stall in Dublin, they honed in on their winning combination of food preparation.
After a few ups and downs, they found themselves an investor which started Bia Mara.
