Art Basel show brings the international artworld together, with 291 of the world’s leading galleries showing the works of over 4,000 artists. A full program of artworld talks takes place each day. Exhibitions and events are also offered by cultural institutions in Basel and the surrounding area, creating an exciting, region-wide art week.
LISTE – Art Fair Basel – June 13-17, 2017
LISTE focuses on introducing young galleries with primarily emerging, as yet little known artists. Each year, approximately 80 galleries from over 30 countries are presented – of those, 10 – 15 galleries are introduced for the first time. LISTE’s mission is to promote these new galleries and introduce them to an international expert public.

Dubbed the “Lucky 13” edition by the VOLTA team, VOLTA13 underscores its mission as a globally conscious fair for artistic discovery by welcoming 70 galleries from four continents and 43 cities to Markthalle, together mounting compelling projects by artists from over 50 nations.
the-solo-project – June 12-17, 2017
the-solo-project celebrates its tenth anniversary with a fresh start at a new venue. The property «Zu den Hirzen» set at the gates of Basel, very near to Messe Basel, offers a special space to expand the program significantly to become an event platform.
The centerpiece will still be the fair with its 40 to 50 galleries. They will literally place their 1500 sqm tent in the garden of the estate.
