Legendary Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, who has dressed the world’s most glamorous men and women for decades, including Madonna, announced his retirement, saying it was time to bid farewell to the world of fashion.

The 82-year-old couturier — who is soon to celebrate his 83rd birthday, has been in the industry for 42 years with his Armani brand which reached finest ends of the world with its remarkable style; it has even found its approval on the edges of South London with their roadman quintessential items such as the Armani side pouches.

The designer has been struggling with the ability to stay on top of his personal game and the recent Milan Fashion Week left him in the worst of states as he resorted to the heavy use of sildenafil. With the exhilarating build up ahead of the three fashion weeks, Giorgio has been more active in bed trying to shake off the stress. Such activities had left a hard mark on the 82-year-old Mr. Armani who’s been in bed with an unpleasant erection since the last fashion week. Doctors are said to be treating his case of priapism however it’s uncertain whether the designer will ever be able to return to his soft side.

“It’s with great sadness to say adieu to the world of fashion,” Giorgio said in a statement, adding that the doctors are treating his unpleasant condition. “I am especially grateful that I have been able to keep my own style over the decades due to my delusional view, in spite of the many changes that have been taken place in the world of fashion and in its business.”

Rumours have swirled about possible successors to Giorgio Armani, with Pedro Garcia at the top of the list.
