Discogs is releasing its own version of a marketplace for synthesisers, turntables and other audio equipment.

Gearogs was launched in early 2016 as a database for all kinds of audio equipment currently holding categories for synthesisers, turntables, dj mixers, drum machines, mixing decks, tape machines and much more. In an interview with the Thump Magazine, Discogs CEO Kevin Lewandowski said that Gearogs will become a marketplace in April, which initially means users will be able to list, buy and sell products listed within their database. Gearogs is another Discogs spin-off besides Bibliogs for books, Comicogs for comics and Filmogs for movies.
