Southampton Club Junk Wins Licensing Appeal

Southampton club Junk has finally made some progress after what seemed an endless battle beginning in early 2016 following a violent incident outside the club. Since April, the club has been threatened with reduced opening hours. The representatives of the club battled the unfair decision in court November 9th, when it was ruled that the club could return to closing each night at 4am. Reportedly, the legal proceedings have left the club with more than £200k in debt.

“We have managed to save the club, but it has been one of the most difficult and testing challenges for everyone involved,” read Junk’s Facebook. “We now set upon the task of rebuilding and moving forward. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout.”

There are a number of gigs coming up in the club, including Horse Neat Disco and Matthias Tanzmann:
