By all accounts, Boy Better Know killed it at Wireless on Sunday. The crew were invited to headline the final day of the festival, and performed a set full to the brim with recent anthems, old-school classics, and all-star guest appearances, including the likes of Pharrell and Drake.

For the past 2 or so years, the UK grime collective, and the grime scene in general, has been flying high on a wave of surging popularity and self-proclaimed independence; Sunday’s wireless set seemed to represent a culmination of this sentiment. In a revealing and intimate interview with Tim Westwood, Skepta talks frankly about his feelings towards a very special moment in the history of grime, and the UK underground music scene as a whole.
